Description

The SW-1640 represents CONSTMACH's engineering expertise in mobile screening and washing technology, delivering 80 tons per hour of processed material with exceptional mobility. This plant addresses a critical challenge in aggregate production: combining high-capacity sand and gravel processing with the flexibility to move between job sites. Unlike stationary installations that require extensive groundwork and permanent infrastructure, this mobile unit integrates all essential screening and washing components onto a single wheeled chassis, ready for deployment wherever natural aggregates need processing.

At the heart of the SW-1640 sits a robust 1,600 x 4,000 mm vibrating screen equipped with an integrated washing system. This screen configuration allows operators to classify and clean material simultaneously, removing clay, silt, and other fine contaminants that reduce aggregate quality. The washing mechanism works in conjunction with a 500 x 5,000 mm screw washer, which handles the fine fraction recovery and dewatering process. This dual-stage approach ensures that both coarse and fine materials receive appropriate treatment, maximizing the yield of saleable products from raw feed material.

Material flow begins at a feeding hopper positioned 4,650 mm above ground level, providing adequate clearance for front-end loaders to feed the plant efficiently. A conveyor transfers material from this hopper to the vibrating screen, maintaining consistent feed rates that optimize screening efficiency. After classification, fold-up stockpile conveyors direct washed and screened products into separate piles. These conveyors feature hydraulic folding mechanisms that reduce transport height and allow quick setup on site. The entire material handling system operates through 41 kW of installed motor power, balanced to handle the plant's rated capacity without unnecessary energy consumption.

Mobility defines this plant's competitive advantage. Designed within international road transport regulations at 15.5 meters length, 3.25 meters width, and 4.3 meters height, the SW-1640 moves between projects without requiring special permits in most jurisdictions. Hydraulic support legs stabilize the chassis during operation, compensating for uneven ground conditions typical of aggregate extraction sites. The 24,000 kg operating weight distributes across the wheeled chassis, allowing repositioning with standard heavy equipment. This mobility becomes particularly valuable for contractors working multiple quarries or those processing materials at temporary sites.

CONSTMACH equips the SW-1640 with automation systems built around Siemens and Schneider components, including programmable logic controllers that manage the entire operation. Operators control the plant through a tablet interface, adjusting parameters like screen frequency, conveyor speeds, and water flow rates without climbing onto the equipment. This remote operation capability improves safety while giving operators clear visibility of the production process. The automation system also monitors critical functions, alerting operators to maintenance needs before minor issues become costly failures.

Power flexibility adds another dimension to the plant's versatility. Standard configurations require an 85 kVA electrical supply, suitable for sites with grid connections or large generator sets. However, CONSTMACH offers an optional integrated diesel generator mounted directly to the chassis, creating a completely autonomous production unit. This configuration proves essential for remote locations where electrical infrastructure doesn't exist. Furthermore, the modular design allows operators to remove the screw washer when only screening is required, converting the plant for dry classification applications without washing water or additional treatment stages.

The SW series philosophy centers on reducing operational complexity while maintaining production standards. Quick installation means operators start processing material within hours of arrival rather than days or weeks required for fixed plants. Smaller land requirements translate to lower site preparation costs and easier permitting. These factors combine to improve project economics, particularly for operations with finite reserve lives or contractors serving multiple clients across different locations.
