At the heart of the SW-1640 sits a robust 1,600 x 4,000 mm vibrating screen equipped with an integrated washing system. This screen configuration allows operators to classify and clean material simultaneously, removing clay, silt, and other fine contaminants that reduce aggregate quality. The washing mechanism works in conjunction with a 500 x 5,000 mm screw washer, which handles the fine fraction recovery and dewatering process. This dual-stage approach ensures that both coarse and fine materials receive appropriate treatment, maximizing the yield of saleable products from raw feed material.

Material flow begins at a feeding hopper positioned 4,650 mm above ground level, providing adequate clearance for front-end loaders to feed the plant efficiently. After classification, fold-up stockpile conveyors direct washed and screened products into separate piles.
