Description

The PI-1 mobile crushing plant represents a specialized solution engineered specifically for processing softer materials like limestone. This machine stands out in the mobile crusher market due to its focused design approach, combining advanced engineering with practical functionality. CONSTMACH developed this unit to address the specific challenges of crushing low-hardness materials while maintaining high productivity and mobility.

At the core of the PI-1 lies the CPI-1412 primary impact crusher, which handles material up to 900 x 900 mm in size. This crusher works in harmony with a sophisticated screening system to deliver consistent output across multiple size fractions. The entire mobile crushing plant operates on a single wheeled chassis equipped with hydraulic support legs, making it remarkably adaptable to different site conditions. Production capacity ranges from 150 to 200 tons per hour, depending on the material characteristics and desired output specifications.

The PI-1's configuration includes several key components that work together seamlessly. Material enters through a feeding hopper equipped with a vibrating feeder, ensuring steady flow into the primary impact crusher. A bypass conveyor removes soil and fine particles before they reach the crusher, protecting the machinery and improving product quality. After primary crushing, material moves via a feeding conveyor to the vibrating screen, which can be configured with either three or four decks depending on product requirements. A feedback conveyor returns oversized material from the screen back to the impact crusher, creating a closed-circuit system that guarantees proper sizing. Fold-up stockpile conveyors complete the setup, allowing operators to build separate stockpiles for different product fractions.

What makes this mobile crushing plant particularly effective for limestone is its ability to produce well-shaped aggregate. The impact crusher's design generates material with excellent cubical characteristics, which is especially valuable for concrete production applications. Operators can simultaneously produce three or four different size fractions, providing flexibility for various market demands. The maximum feeding height of 4.5 meters accommodates standard loading equipment without requiring special arrangements.

The PI-1 mobile crusher incorporates a high-level automation system built around SIEMENS and SCHNEIDER components. Operators control the entire plant using a tablet-based interface, eliminating the need for complex control panels. This PLC-based system manages all crushing and screening functions while monitoring operational parameters. The dust removal system integrated into the design keeps the work environment cleaner and helps meet environmental regulations.

Mobility is a defining feature of this mobile crushing plant. The complete unit measures 18 meters in length, 3.65 meters in width, and 4.5 meters in height, dimensions carefully chosen to comply with international road transport regulations. With a total weight of 49,000 kg, the plant can be relocated between job sites without special permits in most regions. The hydraulic leg system enables quick setup and leveling on uneven ground, and the optional hydraulic opening mechanisms for the feeding hopper and conveyors mean the plant can begin operating without external lifting equipment like cranes or loaders.

Power requirements total 320 kW for the complete mobile crusher operation. For sites without reliable electrical infrastructure, an optional diesel generator set can be integrated directly onto the chassis. When specified, an 850 kVA generator provides all necessary power, making the PI-1 completely self-sufficient. This flexibility allows the plant to operate in remote locations where grid power is unavailable or unreliable.

The engineering behind this mobile crushing plant emphasizes durability and ease of maintenance. Premium components throughout the machine contribute to extended service intervals and reduced downtime. The modular design allows technicians to access critical areas quickly, and the well-organized layout means routine inspections can be completed efficiently. These factors translate directly into lower operating costs and higher profitability over the equipment's lifetime.

CONSTMACH designed the PI-1 with operator convenience in mind. The plant can be assembled and made operational in minimal time, which is crucial for contractors working on tight schedules. The intuitive control system reduces training requirements, and the straightforward maintenance procedures mean that standard maintenance teams can handle routine servicing without specialized training. This practical approach to design reflects real-world operational demands in the crushing and screening industry.
