V-80 Mobile Sand Making Plant

CONSTMACH V-80 Mobile Crushing plant is also known as MOBILE SAND MAKING PLANT is an excellent application for generation of specially fine aggregates (material) that is also called as sand whose fraction size is from 0 to 5 mm particul size with great cubical shape. V-80 is the outcome of sophisticated engineering and advanced design, high level quality components with long-lasting and awesome workmanship.

In addition to the materials which is provided by precrushing in primary and secondary crushing operations, it is also possible to feed the system directly with natural stone that is not coarser than 40 mm.

V-80 Mobile Sand Making Plant

All kinds of materials with different hardness levels such as granite, basalt, dolomite, gabbro, limestone etc can be processed by V-80 with satisfying results.

Productivity V-80 mobile crushing plant varies between 150 to 200 tph regarding toughness grade of the stone to be processed. In addition to fine material (upto 5 mm) it is possible to get up to 3 different final materials simultaneously.

V-80 Portable Sand Plant is the configuration of:

V-80 Mobile Sand Making Plant
  • 10 m³ Feeding Hopper
  • VSI 800 CR Closed Rotor Vertical Shaft Impact Crusher
  • Feeding Conveyor between feeding bunker and VSI Crusher
  • Feeding Conveyor between VSI and screen
  • Vibrating Screen with 3 decks
  • Feedback Conveyor for oversize material
  • Stock Conveyors
  • Wheeled mobile chassis with hydraulic legs
  • Automation System with PLC and remote controller
  • Dedusting System
  • Electric Generator (Optional Feature)

In case of need, it is possible to add a diesel electric generator to main chassis of the system.

V-80 is a user-friendly combination which promises easy mount/assemble features to its operators.. The plant can be put into use in very short time. In case of need, it is possible to equip the feeding bunker and stockpile conveyors with hydraulic cylinders and thus the plant can be taken to operation without needing any external equipment such as crane, loader etc.

FAQ

The CONSTMACH V-80 is a mid-capacity mobile sand making plant that uses a vertical shaft impact (VSI) crusher as its shaping stage. The sections below cover the materials it processes, the products it makes, the industries it serves, how it compares with tertiary impact plants, and how it integrates into a wider plant.

Which materials can be processed

The V-80 processes pre-crushed stone of varying hardness. CONSTMACH lists suitable feed materials as:

  • Granite
  • Basalt
  • Dolomite
  • Gabbro
  • Limestone

Feed is normally material that has passed through earlier crushing stages, with a maximum feeding size of 40 mm.

What products it makes

The plant produces manufactured sand and well-shaped fine aggregate. With its three-deck vibrating screen it can deliver a 0-5 mm sand fraction together with up to three final materials at the same time. The VSI action is used specifically to obtain a cubical particle shape.

Which industries use it

The V-80 is applied where manufactured sand and shaped fine aggregate are required, including:

  • Ready-mixed concrete production
  • Asphalt and road base supply
  • Aggregate quarrying and processing

V series VSI versus T series tertiary impact: when to choose which

The V series uses a vertical shaft impactor that accelerates material against anvils or a rock bed, while the T series uses a horizontal-shaft tertiary impact crusher that reduces material against breaker plates and accepts a larger feed (up to 150 mm). VSI plants such as the V-80 are commonly preferred where feed is highly abrasive and fine shaping is the priority. The choice depends on feed abrasiveness, available feed size, and the required gradation.

Wear parts and maintenance

As a vertical shaft impactor, the V-80 has consumable wear parts associated with the rotor and chamber. Typical considerations include:

  • Rotor wear components such as wear tips and distributor parts
  • Anvils or wear plates / rock-shelf lining depending on chamber configuration
  • Feeder and screen media
  • Conveyor belts

Wear rates depend on the hardness and abrasiveness of the processed material, and rotor and chamber wear parts are inspected as part of routine operation.

Comparison to alternative configurations

Compared with a stationary VSI installation, the mobile V-80 reduces site preparation and allows relocation. Compared with a horizontal-shaft impact crusher in the finishing role, the VSI generally provides stronger particle shaping and is associated with more abrasive feed, while a tertiary impact crusher accepts larger feed and is applied to medium and lower-abrasion materials.

Plant integration

The V-80 carries its hopper, crusher, screen and conveyors on a single chassis and runs as a sand making stage downstream of primary and secondary crushing. Oversize material is returned to the crusher by the feedback conveyor, and sized products are discharged by the stock conveyors.
